Centuries of Brewing Fine Tea
Growing up in South Africa my mom, like many other mothers, gave me Rooibos tea to drink from birth and today it is still a favourite in our household!
I would like to introduce you to this herbal tea with extraordinary health benefits. With similar anti-oxidant levels as green teas this fruity herbal tea is caffeine free and low in tannins. It has abundant polyphenols, vitamin C, calcium, zinc and minerals.
Polyphenols are micro nutrients packed with antioxidants and health benefits greatly benefiting your body. Used to aid digestion, diabetes and degenerate diseases it is a wonder of nature.
When I had my own children it was my turn to introduce this miracle of nature to them. Having a cup of soothing Rooibos tea has become a ritual and institution in our home.
With its rich mineral contents it is good for hair, skin, skeletal development and hydration.
Rooibos tea is the perfect drink for pregnant and nursing mothers, newborn babies and growing children.
Not only can it be a warm beverage, but makes the most delicious iced teas.
African mothers has used this herbal infusion for centuries to soothe upset tummies, colic, soothe allergies and as a way to hydrate their infants and children.
With a love and passion for baking and cooking the idea of making
